G. H. Mumm Brut Champagne NV -- Citrus and apple fruits, nice earthiness, fresh, some yeastiness, quite quaffable.

Domaine Massiac Viognier '09 -- Floral tones (jasmin?), nice round profile, full body, components in balance, good with food.

Chateau de Puligny-Montrachet '08 -- Light yellow, reserved citrus fruits, prominent acid, simplistic style, oak in abeyance.

Louis Latour Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru '08 -- Classic, prominent oak, citrus fruits, melons, powerful structure, medium acid, complex.

Chateau Latour '01 -- Medium dark, black fruits, cedar, tobacco, rich and smooth, everything nicely in balance, excellent classic terroir, delicious.

Dow's Vintage Port '00 -- Deep rich color, effusive miscellany of wonderful aromas, velvet texture, intense, so balanced, explosive style, still young.

Chateau Rieussec Grand Cru Classe '05 -- Golden yellow, complex bouquet, pineapple, caramel, acid backbone, exotic flavors bursting out, truly luscious.
