2010 Beaujolais at Arlequin, 11/17

OK, I don't know their glassware situation or corkage but as I'll be driving home afterwards, I won't be consuming a lot (and spitting at the tasting). My guess would be they'll have acceptable glasses and cheap corkage. I've only had beer at the other spot, which would be just fine too.

Apropos of nothing but Lapierre...the raisin de gaul '10 is a bit tighter than the '09....but that's a bit like saying the orange slurpy is less orange this year. I do prefer tight.

What do walruses and tupperware have in common? They both like a tight seal.

I thought it was a real delight.

Me too. Subtle difference between it and '09, but I think the '10 is a tad austere, comparitively speaking, a little more upright...and I like that. Either vintage is a pleasure, really, though walruses may prefer the '10.
