Educate me, if you have a moment. What do you get with HTML-enhancement that makes it desirable for use in this forum?
For me, two things:
1) Notes (or non-notes) that I write in HTML for my blogs and web site don't have to be edited before posting them here.
2) I want the ability to wrap text around images, put captions on images, etc.; it's not something I do often anymore (though on other fora, I did it all the time), but I appreciate the possibility.
Also, it would help reduce the infestation that plagues some threads (though this could still be solved by the politburo, by cleaning up the default post code).
