2007 Pierre Frick Strangenberg Alsace Pinot Noir 110%

Just feeling the need to mention that this 2007 Pierre Frick Pinot Noir is really lovely. It's fruity and stony with decaying ruins and everything. Very fresh in the mouth and no sulfites. Would happily drink this wine every day.

Also 2010 Domaine Rochette les Micouds Morgon is big, sweet and lively but with a serious finish. Probably a nice one for the cellar.

And a public thank you to Don for the 3.14 cult Beaujolais, it is seriously good wine!

Best,
Kay

Joe, 2007 I believe.

Cory, this is the new Internet wine rating system. The Starngenberg gives 110% Though actually it was only 109.8% but I rounded up. It's that good.

Sigh, the first time I ever had a Frick Pinot was in Joe's office when Kay pulled one off a shelf to open. Memories...

Back when everything was still new.

Another cool thing about this wine: it's sealed with a bottle cap.

Crown capsule please! We're talking about a royal wine.
