1999 Chateau de Beaucastel, CndP, alc 13.5%: Decanted 2+ hrs...Leather on the nose..muted somewhat sour palate... a little leather and iron but not much...the dark cocoa notes are minimal.. a little plum..short finish that has tart drying tannins... really not showing much at all.. ? bad bottle..? in a closed phase...I expected quite a bit more!!
