Quandary

A bottle of Breg Anfora 2004 by Josko Gravner came my way on Christmas day. But now I'm beset with doubt: Am I worthy of this wine? I'm afraid not. Weak orange credentials.

Yes, that's the absolute scientific proof, Oswaldo. But I'm going to try a refresher course in pitarra.

Oh, you guys haven't heard of pitarra? It's the original, ages-old orange wine. Not a recent Friuli reconstruction. It will harden my spirit and my tongue for the test.

I have seen several references to Spanish anfora vessels. Usually the notices are disparaging, however.
