TN: Eric Levine comes to NYC.

Eden, there are no coincidences: Facebook has been telling you that you should be friends with Elliott Randall because just yesterday I was listening to a youtube clip of him playing, live, his famous solo on "Reelin' In the Years." Below the title, it says "Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page has reportedly said that Elliott Randall's guitar solo on "Reelin' In the Years" is his favorite solo of all time." Personally, I found the solo to be a load of codswallop. Hip city kids copping honky donk credentials by importing plaid sporting country licks into an urban rock context. Otherwise I would have posted a link.

Oh, I see. Now that it has been explained that joke is not very funny.

But... but...

Jay, I think this was a pretty good version of Chris. Not the thing itself, perhaps, but all we can hope for in these days of our decline.

Jeff, you're already known for being a laid-back kind of guy.

So far so good (as the saying went in Turkey over 100 years ago).

One might re-couch that as "sofa, so good" but might as well leave it up to divan providence (or maybe the ottoman umpire) to make the ultimate decision.

-Eden (wondering how this'll play in Davenport)

Actually now that I think about it that joke was kind of funny. Good one, Mark.

Calling it a joke is, perhaps, stretching the truth a bit; it's more of just a jape directed in a diffuse sort of way at Brad. Funny the traction that it got, but in the afterglow of some Tyrell's Semillon in Sydney, it's all good.

My preference is to make people work for their puns but I'm willing to table that discussion for a future time.

I enjoyed that one myself and now that you mention Chris it all comes together into a focus of understanding.
