And, of course, Sinclair is the guy who made the claim that resveratrol activated SirT1, now thoroughly debunked as an artifact of the Fluor de Lys assay (love that name!). That didn't stop him from starting a company (Sirtris) and selling it off to BMS for a cool half billion, though.
