Opened a 1996 Donnhoff Niederhauser Hermannshohle Riesling Auslese Saturday night - totally and irrevocably oxidized.
I had some problems about 6-7 years ago, but recently have had no problem. Producers with whom I spoke about the matter in Germany agreed with me that the wines had gone through a bad phase that they are now coming out of.originally posted by maureen:
