“The Magic of Ju-Ju” (get David Lillie to explain the joke, or perhaps Eden will indulge us)

Does it have anything to do with the Archie Shepp recording?

Curiosity piqued,

Funny I was thinking Wayne Shorter's.

I'm pretty sure that Shorter's is just "Juju".

I also note that I posted before I read subsequent notes, and Jeff Connell had already mentioned Shepp. Oops.

Also, at least as of 2009 it's Les Vieux Clos stateside as well - as far as I know it's the same plot as Les Clos Sacres, just named differently. We're serving the 2009 Les Vieux Clos right now by the bottle. I don't know the vintage when this changed though.

Nicholas will be at my place of employ on the 26th of February and I will try to remember to ask him.

I wonder whether the Joly could hire Pinguet as a consultant now that he's free?

perhaps there is a jeebus thread for this sort of thing?

You suffer from a restless mind.
I would so like to see one of the great vineyards in the world making better wine.

Joe doing a Friedrich, who would've thought?

The Anjou and Touraine are completely different, just as a tech IPO is different from a biochem M&A...

Note the plural in both names. The wine is assembled from 4 different plots around the Domaine. It used to be called Bécherelle. I think 2004 was the vintage in which it became Les Vieux Clos - and for several years Les Clos Sacrés in the American market.
