NV Chidaine Montlouis-sur-Loire Méthode Traditionnelle

Would love to see you out here, Mark, either in D.C. or Charlottesville.

Anyway, good wines are a bit like good books - you'll never get to them all, best to enjoy the ones you do.

how does one know which 'rendition' of this wine one has? i see some code stuff in small print on the back label. is this the key?

The Reserve is marked on the front. There were two releases of the regular but I don't know how to distinguish them.

I think (maybe mistakenly) Robert was referring to the Chidaine, And I have the same question. Anyone know how to decipher the batch #? Are they generally (or prediminantly at least) vintage wines or does he do some serious vintage blending?
I'm with Sharon, hard to top for the $.

yes, my question has to do with (of all things) the subject of the thread.

for Chidaine, the long code on the back always ends with the vintage.

for Huet, send your tasting note to SFJoe with a self-addressed stamped envelope
