Les Clos Domaine Grand Cru -- Some smoke/oak/minerals for complexity, nicely done. [VG - E]

Recapping, the complimentary commentary on all of these wines is reflective of how well they all showed in this tasting. The conditions with the 2010 vintage were difficult but manageable. Visiting with Morgan Delagloche, Area Export Manager, the 2010 vintage was one with smaller berries and significantly less fruit to work with. On the plus side, the 2010 Burgundies (to the extent that one can generalize) have impressive purity and concentration.
