I remember that well, with your Burgundy from the 20s and 30s that had been brought in through Texas at that time. You made up for it with that amazing '59 Coulee de Serrant and '55 Taylor's.
An '89 Robert Denis would've been sublime with the cod.

Brad Kane, the Jonas Grumby of the NYC wine scene, sailed out from Montauk to catch fish. He caught many a dogfish shark (for those not up on their ichthyology, that's not a food fish), but eventually he caught some cod.
