2 Chenins

the 1er trie (whether it's there or not) is up on the shoulder strip label, no? that's where it is for the 1996.

On a number of re-labels on older bottles released post 2002, you'll see Premiere Trie written around the coat of arms. Plus, I think the '97's may have been released that way.

Thank you, all, for the brilliant defense leading to the ineluctable conclusion that this, this is the real thing. An artist, he is. I tell you.

nice comments on it being counterfeit, but who would be dumb enough to chose a vintage like 1993? kinda like counterfeiting 2's instead of 100's. cut the crap and mock up a case of 1959.

This is the kind of thinking that made Hardy and Rudy household names.

I, for one, enjoyed the fact that the label says Vourvay instead of Vouvray. A well-known counterfeiting trick.

Legally speaking, Vourvay is not subject to any of the AOC rules. All bets are off.

Where are the pictures?
You had to ask for pictures. You could hear Ansel Adams rolling over in his grave for 200 miles in every direction. Porn=bottle neck labels. I'm going to drink a great deal of wine tonight to erase the images of this thread.
Coad, dont you wish you had stayed in Ecuador?
