After a slightly disappointing 2009 and one badly corked bottle of the 2010 I am delighted to report that when on the 2010 CV is a wonder and a delight. It combines a weightless texture with chalky minerality interlaced with citrus and a long satisfying finish.

I am not, though I have some sympathy for those who are.

As mentioned I was disappointed by the 2009, but the 2010 is really back on form and, for me at least, well worth the tariff.

2009 is a warmer vintage overall in Spain. 2010 is cooler and much more balanced

Unfortunately I don't buy every year so I can't comment exactly. However if memory serves I think it's probably as good as the 2006. I missed some in between.
