Sure, why the hell not? Particularly if it doesn't hinder you in the least from arguing to the death about inconsequential matters of minuscule interest. I've found that it helps to have a background in science, deceased philosophers (they're unlikely to argue back), Broadway musicals, Nepalese cuisine, classic Uruguayan porn films, proper adjustment of the Weber carburetor (or at least know how to hook up a cable TV system) and a passing awareness of the political machine presently in power that rules the Sandwich Islands with an iron grip (or maybe it's the 1000 Islands mob that's doing the squishing - I get them confused sometimes).
