The Events of the Night In Question

Missed that, missed the several Muscadets, missed the Farou and Baudry Chinons, probably others. On a night like this all you can do is vinous triage, save what you can and let others fall by the wayside.
Wished I had been there; would definitely have covered this ground for you.

It's good to see C. C. back in great form again. My oldest son's initials for his first and middle name are C C also, Craig Clifford to be exact. Although his initials represent Canadian Club my favorite beverage at the time.
Steve Edmunds was at our home for dinner a week after the evening at SF Joes and he did mention he was perplexed by an individual at Joe's place that spoke in a heavy Hawaiian accent. Steve said it was a good evening for many other reasons but did not elaborate.

And I must admit the idea that she was born in Honolulu is a bit baffling. She had a not thick but distinct French accent.

That plus the wig for pictures suggests witness protection to me.

As did we all.

Jeff, while you were missed, that's not what he is saying.
In a bizarre reenactment of Antonioni's Blow-Up, I approached Joe at the party with " I thought you were supposed to be in Vouvray ", to which he replied " I am in Vouvray ".

This is comedy that sends my mind reeling in new directions. That is my favorite kind of comedy.

Chinato.

Wouldn't beer be the better vessel for this kind of thing? Aren't hops and pot closely related?

I think it is the solubility of THC and cannabinoids that is the issue. The alcohol may not be high enough in beer to extract them.
