as an "alumnus" of the world famous Marshall Manning's Magnum Madness parties of a few years ago, I have become inspired to host an East Coast version of a similar event....
We are located in middle North Carolina (Greensboro) and have a home suitable for large wine events...
the thought is to make the event in early Fall, likely a Fri/Sat/Sun event with great food and wine
To copy Marshall....any region/varietal is acceptable, the only rule is that is should be 2 (or more) times the normal bottling size for the given wine....
Several of us have Mags/big bottles that are languishing in our cellars in expectation of an "event"....I propose to host such an event...
