Domaine du Galet des Papes Chateauneuf du Pape '88 -- Good almost youthful red color, roasted meats, deep dark fruits, nice roundness, well evolved, still nicely balanced. [E]

Vieux Telegraphe Chateauneuf du Pape '85 -- Dark red, aromatic dried fruits, some earthiness and smoke, smooth texture, still good stuffing, ample acidity, complex flavors, leather and tobacco. [E]
