Descombes G 2006 Regnie VV - chewy cherry-licorice
Pira, Luigi 1995 Barolo "Margheria" - despite hours of decanter time this never really opened up, sound but dull, very little aromatic interest
Texier 2010 Cotes du Rhone - crisp and clean and light and a genuine pleasure to drink
Gruet 2008 Pinot Noir - a perfectly nice little wine marred by too much oak
Riviere 2010 Rioja "Gabacho" - kinda grapey
Pedralonga 2007 Rias Baixas Tinto "Do Umia" - huh; this has a really long saline finish, which I'm sure I tasted at the Chambers event, but this is also sorta sour and stewy up front, even my partner thinks this is weird
