On a separate bee topic, there is a recent thread on sulfites on another forum whose name (at least for those famliar with Fred Saberhagen' sci-fi) suggests that its purpose is the extermination of wine, tat mentions that bees included when grapes are crushed can cause elevated histamine levels in wine.
