What wine is in your refrigerator?

My wife has always thought that rather than the kitchen and garden tours that happen in these parts, it would be much more interesting to go on a nightstand and medicine chest tour. This led me to wonder what other people have in their refrigerators.

Right now I’ve got a bottle of

2010 Pheasant’s Tears Mtsvane amber wine
2009 Rhys Santa Cruz Mountains Chardonnay
2011 Chateau Grand Traverse late harvest Riesling
2010 Chateau Grand Traverse Lot 49
2010 Cowan Cellars Isa
2003 Weingut Spreitzer “303”

And you?

Brad

Does a small wine frig in the kitchen count? Didn't think so...

There is an open bottle of Perez-Barquero Amontillado in the food frig, being used both for sipping and for cocktails.

Things left over from gatherings that no one opened:
1996 Arcadian sta Maria valley Chardonnay, bien nacido vineyard
1997 Dagueneau Pur Sang

Things on hand at all times this summer:
2011 CRB Pinot d'Aunis Rose
2010 clos des briords. (2x)

Others in actual queue:
2011 coquelet morgon cote du Py - 1/2 full from last night
2010 Steinmetz Wintricher Geierslay "sur lie"
Nearly done bottle of la bota #30, manzanilla pasada

If that is true, I have consumed many bottles that have been ruined, although strangely to me they still tasted good. I suppose it could have some impact on wines that have not been cold-stabilized. Perhaps someone that understands science could explain.

But to answer the original question (you caught me at a good time):

2010 Clos des Briords
2011 Baudry Rose
2010 Lucien Crochet Sancerre Le Chene
2004 Huet Le Mont Sec
2010 Weingut Christ Gelber Muskateller
2009 Moric Sankt Georgen Gruner Veltliner
2005 Donnhoff Schlossbockelheimer Kupfergrube Riesling Spatlese

And I just removed from the fridge a 2010 CRB Sauvignon No. 5 that I had opened last night. It's even better on day two.

2000 Lopez y Heredia Tondonia Blanco
2007 Donhoff Riesling QBA
2010 Seven of Hearts Chardonnay Mahonia Vineyard Willamette Valley
2011 Helioterra Pinot Blanc Willamette Valley

A few of us had, last week, a '35 Huet LHL molleux that its owner said had been in his fridge about 1 year -- and recorked at that b/c it was refermenting when opened originally. It was just fine with scharfe maxx and Comte.

Warren, Are you (or is anyone) saying that an unopened wine shouldn't be left in a refrigerator for longer than 10 days?

. . . . . Pete

good thing I read the thread, went to the fridge to check and discovered a few drops of 07 schaefer himmelreich spat which has been open for a week; delicious!
