LDM reps German Riesling

I read on another wine board that LDM is going to import Knebel, Clemens Busch, Immrich-Batterieberg, and Koehler-Ruprecht. Very cool.

I'm hoping to see Koehler-Ruprecht available at Chambers (and maybe even in DC) sometime soon. Does anyone know anything about when this producer will start showing up on store shelves in the US?

I also heard that Peter Lauer is now being imported by Vom Boden. Does anyone know anyting about Vom Bodem's regional distributors? Will Lauer still be available in DC, or, at the very least, will have as many cases imported into the US and were imported under Mosel Wine Merchants?

I am pretty sure that Vom Bodem is a new outfit that includes (or perhaps is even headed by) Stephen Bitterolf. They picked up Lauer, Stein, Julien Haart and Weiser-Kunstler.

Lauer and Stein were my two favorite producers from the MWM book.

I didn't realize Von Bodem was Stephen's outfit. Best of luck to him. Peter Lauer makes for quite a crown jewel, no doubt about it.

BTW, check out Zachys' sale on '09 AJ Adam Hofberg feinherb today.
