Amazing.

Don't know '10 Decima, but the '11 which happens to be in my glass right now is gorgeous and utterly hipster.

You could have a serious Muscadet-a-thon there, but what they hey? Only two Vouvray, both of them secs and from problematic vintages?

It's an oyster place. Don't really need the moelleux.

Same proofreader that didn't catch: "Cote de Beane"

Rowan Atkinson's favorite. I wonder who created the list. In the article Jeff linked, the owner didn't appear to be especially wine-oriented.

The manager of the shop (on Court St.) is a wine dealer himself so it might be he, but I'm not sure. If I remember, I can ask next Saturday.

Credit to Krystof Zizka, apparently. The full wine list just appeared last week, so they are still working out some of the kinks.

'11 Decima seems like cheating, in a Spinal Tap sort of way.

Oysters $1 each 4-7 PM, btw.
Are oysters still considered seasonal, only months with R in them?

The folks I talk to here that run Taylor's Seafood tell me the oysters they raise don't have a spawning season in the summer and are good to eat all year.
Personally I think these Pacific oysters are at their best in late winter and spring, and their taste declines in the summer.

I don't eat the Gulf coast oysters but I suppose for health reasons the summer might be the most dangerous time.

By that logic, what's with all the reds on the list?

They definitely could use a demi-sec and, in fact, sweet wines, especially Sauternes, used to be all the rage with oysters back in the day.
