Christian Chaussard died?

Cancer yes, but was actually killed in a tractor accident. Not pretty, but there are worse ways to go.
 
When I first met him he wanted nothing to do with machinery. He was working with a horse in 4 hectares of vines up behind Rochecorbon in Vouvray. His petillant naturel was uplifting.
 
Sad, sad news.

Christian was one of the founder of the natural wine party, and one of the few that had rational and argumented perspectives on natural winemaking.

We had great discussions, you know, when you go to sleep with the feeling to be more clever than when you waked up...

But more than that, Christian and Nathalie made "des vins jolis", like Chauvet would have said.

I'll miss him.
