My fiance asked for a daily-drinker riesling last night, so being a bit of a scamp, I opened a bottle of (entry level QbA) E. Muller without comment and poured it for her.
5 minutes later, she comments, "This is so much more concentrated than the other Rieslings you give me - it's almost too much."
Needless to say, it was an amazingly good bottle, both for its level and even for its price. I hear those who say the quality starts with the spatlese but . . .
