'02 Baumard Savennières

2002 Domaine des Baumard Savennières, alc 13%..nose is a bit honeyed...palate has taken on depth and weight and shows some waxiness....acidity has receded a little...long finish....went well with baked chicken and rice

I didn't get much "spoof" out of this...I have had it about 6 times since release and it seems to be on a normal maturation curve
the '79 about 5 yrs ago was very interesting as well

The'79 Baumard Clos Papillon opened some years ago by Maureen was stellar.
