2007 Austrian question

I'll be reorganizing my storage in the near future and wanted to check if I should follow my first impulse and move these to an inaccessible location for 6-15 years? Are they generally shut down yet? Nigl Privat, Steiner Hund and some Pragers.

Depends how you like 'em and how many you have. Prager and to a lesser extent Nigl seem to drink just fine in the in-betweensy stage without really closing down, IMO, so I wouldn't want to rule out the possibility of drinking at least some over the next 6 years. Steiner Hund on the other hand can probably safely be assumed to be closed, for whatever that's worth since I've never actually experienced an "open" one.

I think that's right. I have enjoyed some 2004 Nigl recently. My recollection is that '99s and '01s are at least as good as they're going to get.

2007 Privat is fine now, but not showing all it has. I wouldn't touch the Hund. Knoll's basic was very nice a few evenings ago.
