For some reason, I went to this link. I am dumbfounded. A tasting of 2 Crozes, 4 St. Joseph from completely different areas of the appellation, a Cornas and a Cote Rotie. And declared one wine "the best". The best WHAT? This makes no sense.

You are absolutely correct, those wines are from the same country and all from within 45 miles of each other - they should all taste the same!
