This was regularly on the seasonal menu incorporated into more than one dish at New Heights in DC in the mid-1980s. I used to eat it there and recall liking it but don't recall anything specific.

The one time I tried it was at Oyamel. Earthy, funky, yummy. Just how I like my smut.
