Something magical is happening...

What's the statute of limitations on giving a no-longer dormant Disorderly the welcome reserved for newbies?

the brave new world of disorder now discourages this behavior, just as it discourages negativity, the wanton disparaging of n00bs, or the idea that the value of opinions is related to experience with whatever they relate to.

this is why i celebrate both the monkey's entry itb and the ignorant mewlings of whatisname (the n00b trying to score shitpoints off eric): because what we really need here is a broad diversity of opinion.

let a hundred flowers bloom!

If you're serious, I'll pull it for you tonight. 3btls each rose, sb, gamay, and Pif?

Thanks everyone, but especially Marc D who is officially our first customer!

I've tried to stay out of the wine business, more or less unsuccessfully, so when this opportunity came along, I jumped.

I'll be keeping my day job and probably only having a limited role in the shop.

There are a couple of cool things there right now, including the 11% alcohol 2008 St. Joseph from Texier. Otto, we'll figure out international shipping for you somehow.

We'll also be working with the Benanti wines, which are back in the market.

We have the usuals that you would expect. A bit of Coudert Griffe, if you missed it, etc.

On some items, especially from the big distributors, our prices are shit but there isn't much we can do about it. We are primarily a local store, but we welcome fellow travelers.

We might even carry Cory and Guilhaume's wines if Guilhaume stops crying like his baby.

Just FYI, the e-commerce won't be "real" for at least another week, so if you are able to see the site at all, think of it as a guide and email Noel if there is anything you are interested in.

Have him crash a couple of cars while he's there.

(Which, come to think of it, shouldn't be too hard, as I believe he does not know how to drive.)

Awesome. That wine is particularly sucky.

The VLM-TR has started up again, not that anyone cares.

Would folks want me to cross post that content here, or just leave it there, or not post at all, or have Sharon post it?
