Do I like Domaine de l'R?

Yesterday I had a few glasses of Domaine de l'R (Frédéric Sigonneau) SO2 of unknown vintage (I thought VdT was now allowed to show vintages?). It's a Cabernet Franc from IIRC somewhere close to Chinon. But I don't know what to think of it - so perhaps since everyone on this bored has identical tastes, someone could tell me if I liked it? It had purple colour but no other effects usually seen with purplosity. In fact it was perfectly fresh and unfunky for a no sulphur wine and had the bite of a crocodile. But despite all this strength it was dangerously drinkable. But it didn't really remind me of any Cabernet Franc I have previously had. Intriguing certainly and I want to try it again. But someone should tell me whether or not I like it.

When a friend wanted to call his new wine "L'Enfant Terrible," his marketing/label folks told him adamantly, "You CANNOT put the word 'Terrible' on the label of your wine!"

This one should make him feel better.

Mike Dashe by chance?

I recently had a bottle of the 2012 Domaine de l'R Chinon Les Cinq Eléments at Joe Beef in Montreal. Deep cherry to it, fresh. Really quite tasty if without much density.

A glass of 2013 Xavier Marchais L'Elixir de Jouvence at Vin Papillon was also delicious.
