Beaucastel CNdP 2010

I took delivery of my annual stash of Ch de Beaucastel Chateauneuf du Pape 2010 today and must confess that I am exhilarated.

I won't taste it for a (very?) long time from my own stash, but hopefully will have an opportunity to taste it earlier elsewhere.

In any case, this vintage sounds like a worthy Beaucastel (just as most all of them are). Only wish the tariff was less.

I remember being very excited about taking delivery of my '98 Beaucastel. Then I tried it. I never imagined before then that I could hate a Beaucastel.

Mike, Yes, surprising! Was your experience with the '98 with just one bottle?

My experiences with the '98 have been excellent, almost outstanding.
