It's time to stop occupying storage slots with crap: crap that is old, crap that never came around, crap that I no longer like, crap that fell off a cliff precipitous ledge, crap that I bought because I felt guilty or had been the one who organized the winery visit.
Anyone out there with love for these wines or makers? Didn't think so.
WillowBrook 2003 Pinot Noir "Dutton Morelli Ranch" - pretty and perfumey nose, a little tannic and overripe on the palate; pruny on Day 2; my note from 2005 reads "harsh, hot, piney, weird"
Moshin 2006 Pinot Noir "Lot 4" - like the Willowbrook, a pretty nose (roses?), but this goes from jammy to bitter in the mouth right away
Killerby 1998 Shiraz - bought on release, I liked it then; in 2002: good flavor, a bit oaky; last bottle today (2012): no bouquet, all secondary and tertiary (and generic) flavors with a vague hint of blackberry
