I am not privy to the injoke here. Sharon, you don't like pm? Or is it more than that?

Think about it more from the perspective of "How much more competion for Prevost's already scarce bottles do we need?".

frivolously.

from the wall street journal:

"Mr. Parker's other now-legendary point of distinction was his ringing endorsement of the 1982 Bordeaux vintage when every other wine critic dismissed both the wines and the vintage. Mr. Parker saw greatness—and he turned out to be right. The 1982 Bordeaux are still some of the most sought-after wines in the world. It was the turning point that put Mr. Parker enduringly on the wine map."

apparently if you can rearrange the letters in "lettie teague" to make "hermann göring," you get to have lunch with james suckling. or the dude who uses his hair on odd days. i forget which.

Does the stuff age ?
Seriously.

I doubt I'll ever own enough to find out; unless some bottles just get lost by accident, but, again, given how delicious it is and how few bottles one can get (especially the Fac-Simile), it is hard to imagine my losing track of any.

Peter Liem did an excellent article in The World of Fine Wine where he tasted all of Prévost's wines back to 1999.

That was the opener, yes; well commented, Mr. W.

But as for the other, I am not a fan of José Michel.

I was speaking only about Prevost, but after a quick spreadsheet search, it turns out i own more '07 and '08 than I thought. So, maybe in the future we will be able to do some empirical work.
