Jay, I seem to recall that the Durand folks might be considering a broken worm as a warranty item since it is point of failure that's not uncommon.

Jay, I would go on and contact them and see what they say. They have come across as very accommodating folks.

I really appreciate my Durand, but it should be easy to be accommodating when your cost of goods is less than 5% of retail pricing.
