One day in Napa

I find myself having one day in Napa this coming Sunday, January 20. Any must sees on such short notice?

Yes, I can use the search function but there were too many hits and my flu addled brain needs a break.

PS.

I have emailed Corison Winery for a visit.

I'm partial to Stony Hill. Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewurtz. No oak, no malo.
You have to call though, and there may be a fee.

If you'd like to hit the heights of Napa Valley (vinous and view-wise) check out Mayacamas, Sky Vineyard, and Lagier Meredith. Visit Smith-Madrone and Ritchie Creek too if you're planning to be further upvalley .

-Eden (they make Corison almost seem quaintly modernistic in approach)

Jim's and Eden's suggestions are both good. If you are partial to classically styled Zins, there's also Storybook Mtn. Be forewarned that anyone prone to carsickness should think twice about visiting Stony Hill, Mayacamas or Lagier-Meredith. All those places involve 20-30 min excursions from the valley floor on windy mountain roads.

Vare and the Scholium Project make interesting and offbeat wines, but neither offer tastings. If you see the wines at a store, restaurant or wine bar, you might try them. Definitely up the Disorderly alley.
I agree with the recommendations for Lagier-Meredith and Stony Hill.
