Coquena Torrontés Salta '10 -- Pale/medium yellow, various citrus fruits, some floral notes, light structure, notable herbs, forward fruitiness for a nice aperitif wine.
Viña Falernia Carménère Syrah Reserva '09 -- Dark red, dark fruits, maybe some roses and plums, pleasing hints of sweetness along with some heat, soft texture, almost Malbec-like.
Mendel Sémillon '12 -- Light gold, citrus and tropical fruits, some wood, medium acid, medium lush, crisp texture with a light intensity, fruit could perhaps be more forthcoming, no edges.
Kingston Family Vineyards Alazan Pinot Noir '08 -- Medium red, pleasing aromatics, blackberries and dark cherries, nice spice, good mouthfeel, maybe a bit shy in style but tasty.
Viña Quebrada de Macul Pargua Maipo Valley Red Blend '07 -- Medium red, melange of black and red fruits, some smoke, components nicely in proportion, some spiciness for personality.
Casa Lapostolle Las Kuras Vineyard Cuvée Alexandre Syrah '09 -- Dark red, complex bouquet with some toastiness and spice, dark berries, maybe a bit lactic, medium dimensions, some polish.
Noemia de Patagonia A Lisa Red '11 -- Dark red, wonderful fruitiness in bouquet, maybe some plums, briary fruits, a bit restrained in style, nice balance, quite quaffable.
Bouza B6 Tannat '08 -- Dark red, pleasing scents, lively dark fruits, subtle spices, wood flavors that are in proportion, rather extracted profile, power under control, classy.
