Hi all,
Opened a bottle of 2010 Desvignes Voute St. Vincent last night. There was a fair amount of spritz in it, and I didn't care for it. Seemed like something funky was going on. I thought maybe it was slightly corked, or had some other flaw. It also seemed a little closed.
Drinking a little glass here on the second day, all that spritz is gone, and it's clearly not corked. It's not doing a ton for me, but it also seems somewhat closed.
It's available cheap locally and I'm trying decide whether to put some in the cellar. Any reactions? Maybe I'm just being carried away by the producer and vintage in terms of even thinking about getting more.
Oh yeah...the Breton VV 2010 is a bit bretty out here west - I think the Gang of Four has cross infected - I think it's across the board.
