VS,
Are the places in Seville bars, restaurants or a combination?

; I've decided I don't love Apostoles palo cortado, however.)

Iirc correctly it's an unusual style as its aged in PX casks so it picks up sweetness from them.

What comes through is caramel flavor that masks all other flavors and subtlety. Vuelve Carolina and Ricard Camerena had good Equipe Navaros selections. Including 2 excellent Palo Cortados (1 each; sorry I have forgotten the #'s.). RC is a very serious and excellent restaurant. And hauntingly beautiful room. Very good wine program too, from what I could tell.

bar FM is awesome. Full stop. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to navigate on a Friday or Saturday, but a little late on a Thursday, it was full except 2 seats, as if meant for us. Amazing barnacles and periwinkles. And only as we were leaving did I see that he had whelks! Oh well, as we spent most of a night and most of the next day at the Alhambra, the rest of Granada clearly merits another visit.

To me, D'Berto in O Grove, Galicia, and O Pazo in Madrid.

Ooh love O Pazo. And we went to a very entertaining shellfish fest in O Grove, but no D'Berto alas. Thanks for the tips.

Too funny! That's the second time today that I've seen someone using that line. Repo Man is the only Emilio Estevez film that I ever liked.

No love for Men at Work?

I can’t goad you with the Men at Work reference, eh? Seriously though, how about The Breakfast Club? Or would you consider that an ensemble cast, not an Emilio Estevez film?

I never saw Men at Work, so I can't comment, but I am no fan of John Hughes's films. It doesn't help that our student body has appropriated the term "Breakfast Club" for early hours pre-football drinking while costumed in bars, a practice that appalls me on those rare occasions when I don't avoid contact with them.

Nice. I made it to Blanco Cerrillo a couple of times but the others have been noted for a future visit.

Fábula is the best place if you don't mind a modern twist. Casa Ojeda for the 100% traditional Castilian stuff.
