2010 CRB Gamay

Showing a slightly mossy fresh garden dirt element over some deep medium weight dark fruit. A harmonious note to balance out a somewhat crazy weekend. I feel more relaxed already.

No harm in opening the '10 though. A bottle a month or two ago gave me as much joy as anything I've drank in the last year.

Tried Pif 10 last week, brilliant stuff but no reason not to wait a few years

2011 needs time, it's not quite knit together now.

what happened, closed down? Not had one since December.
I thought it to be the most interesting CRB Gamay to taste on release, easily.

Really? Didn't think so...

2010 Baudry Chinon Domaine needs plenty of air as well.

Agree on Baudry, for sure.

Yes, 2011 G was (the few times I had it in 2012) the same classy, weightless, pure tease that 2010 Arpent was/is. These two wines have elevated CRB in my book even further, if that's possible.
