Looking at p. A3 of today's NY Times (national edition), I see a Tiffany & Co. ad with a picture of a wine glass and a decanter. Below the picture is the text:

"A Passover Tradition
"Riedel Sommeliers burgundy wine glass and ultra decanter in crystal"

So we know about tradition in this religion, 5800 years or so. How far back does this one go?

Informal blind tasting at our house has shown that the leftover Manischewitz from the previous year is preferred to the fresh bottle opened for the current year. Less fruit, more muted is a good thing. Don't think it's a matter of vintage.
