Okay, the Mollydooker reference can readily be recognized as probably intending a very negative connotation. But isn't the comparison very disparate with respect to Rombauer.

Perhaps I'm not up to par on Rombauer but should Rombauer be mentioned in this context in the same vein as Mollydooker?

And are you saying you're not enamored with the "culinary theme"?
