Sounds like dinner

What fungi would you pair with them, Joe? And what wines to serve? Inquiring minds and all that.

(fresh from spitting crickets at the 25th annual Bug Bowl yesterday -- I sent mine 18' 3", not enough to make the leaderboard, alas)

Hmmmm. I imagine that fried in lard with lots of chiles and garlic and some lime juice on top they would go with a cold cerveza.

Sounds like dinnerWe don't have many around here, but some of my pals are looking for recipes.

There were plenty out at Lake Hopatcong. I landed one of the biggest pickeral ever using one as bait.

When will they be on the menu at Chateauneuf du Joe?

18' sounds pretty good to me. How long was the winning spit?

29' when last I checked. I didn't stick around for the finals, though. It should be noted that it was divided between classes, so my son's spit of 8' 10" was just a tad shy of the 10' it would have taken to make the leaderboard of the boys' competition. My blushing bride recused herself from competition this year, the chickenshit (actually, since she's immunosuppressed, it was a wise choice).

Casts a new light on the old question: "How long is yours?"

I don't think that's a question people actually ask.

You clearly never had a co-ed gym class in Junior High, winegrrrrlll. Come to think of it, neither did I.
