Boston Marathon Finish bombed

CNN Correspondent John King, a Boston native, said authorities have a clear video image of a “dark-skinned male” placing a bag at the second bomb site outside of the Forum restaurant on Boylston Street and then leaving the area before that explosion.

The breakthrough came through analysis of surveillance video from the Lord & Taylor store on Boylston Street. King said his sources claim the video is so clear they can see the suspect’s face.

King said police used also video from a Boston television station to identify the individual.

I suppose the bombs were a bit heavy, and carrying two of them might not have been so easy for one psychopath.
 
Chaos in Cambridge and Watertown

Still ongoing, but one police officer dead after shootout at MIT, then a convenience store robbery and carjacking with chase to Watertown, MA where a shootout with explosions occured. One suspect in custody (one news station locally reporting that suspect is dead) and the other still apparently at large in Watertown. Unclear if there are other suspects.

Suspect in dark hat confirmed dead by Boston Police Commissioner. NBC reporting a possible international connection - that these 2 cretins may have come into the US a year ago. Pete Williams NBC reporting they had received foreign military training in the past. Terrorists.

There are conflicting reports as of now. NBC is reporting that white hat guy may be a Brown student from Pennsylvania who went mysteriously missing a month ago.

But I doubt anyone would argue that people who set off bombs in crowds are indeed terrorists. We're not talking zany funsters here, at any rate.
 
Last I looked, Chechnya was not in the US. More information pouring in - these brothers have been in the US for 8-10 years. This may shed some light on the older (now deceased) brother.
