I stopped by yesterday briefly because of the 15%-off Loire Tuesday and found the prices ((all regions) so high that even with 20% off they may be higher than Chambers or Crush. As general evidence, a 1970 Tondonia that cost 300 at Crush 6 months ago was being offered for 700.
 
The older and "trophy" bottles are puffed up, a bit, but I think the prices on current-release wines are fair. And definitely appealing with 20% knocked off.

Overall the store seems to have lost a bit of its direction in the past five years or so, but it still has some good things.
 
I resisted the temptation (though I'll admit to going to the website for a few minutes). As of today I've gone 4 weeks without buying any wine.

Not that it helps much, TCWC got in the last of my prearrival wine last week so another 10 bottles are showing up soon.

And there are still pending prearrivals from Crush and Premier Cru. At least Premier Cru might not arrive for another decade.
