Luis Gutiérrez

Hi guys, thanks for all the comments. It's an incredible opportunity for someone like me to get this job, and I'm very excited about the possibilities that will open for us. TWA is certainly changing...

See you around,

Luis

Ustinov was pretty good.

I liked the movie as a whole, too. There are other movies that would be first choices for Ustinov fans. I don't think that's the case with Schildknecht, though, so that is a further argument in favor of subscribing, I guess. But really, I'm with Joe. I'm not in the market for scores or tasting notes, even from him. I would be in the market for the general descriptions he writes of what his going on if the sound to noise ratio would be better.

i find that the detailed write-ups on the producers which follow the individual tasting notes often proffer the general information that it sounds like you're seeking.

I regret to announce that, due to conflict of interest, Luis will be withdrawing his membership in UWATFBAIA (United Workers and Trust Fund Babies against Inoculated Albarino).

Indeed. But there's still the issue of signal to noise. Unless it's changed, there's not much Schildkknecht and most of him will still be tasting notes. Hardly worth a subscription for the little there is of his introductions and general discussions of producers.

The introductions nowadays are long and detailed. Those by David are and, I'm sure, those by Luis will be rich in content which helps interpret the wines.

agreed. if there's someone that does more thorough and informative writeups and analyses (tasting notes aside) than schildknecht i've yet to find them. burghound and jll are also very thorough but they don't cover wine regions that schildknecht covers.
