I heard a rumor about this but could not believe it.

Have they installed the broilers yet?

Isn't there something else in the space?
 
The new location is on the south side of the street. I saw the signs walking back from USC last night and took the picture. Apparently upside down.
 
Not sure what the story is, but at the time they closed, the rumor was that a new store was coming in, but Willie would have nothing to do with it. Granted, as Joe states, the real issue there is the heat in the cellar.
 
So curious that they want to keep the infamous name.

It doesn't seem to be how you'd get started on your new thing.
