2006 Chteau de Raousset Morgon Douby (Beaujolais) A new producer for me and my first from Douby. Are there other producers from this vineyard? This wine is everything I love about Beaujolais. Ahh-inspiring floral aromatics, high-toned strawberry and tart tart cherry flavors, just enough tannic structure to show both power and finesse, and really bright acidity. There is a solid sense of iron and granite at the core. Im very happy drinking this wine. Drink and hold. Imp: Jeanne-Marie de Champs through Old World Imports

Never heard of this but great to see more high quality Beaujolais available. And nice to see more Morgon vineyards than just Cote du Py.
