(surely the worst beer on the planet).

36 Cheap American Beers

Guess they don't make Fort Schuyler anymore - that was one cheap beer. Looked like water an old iron pipe had been rusted in, though it didn't taste quite as good as that sounds.
The absence of Stegmaier on this list makes it difficult to take seriously. I fairly certain it was brewed thru a horse.

Missed this. Stegmaier bottles $7.14 a case in 1985. My father claimed it was brewed with water from the Susquehanna and warned us not to drink it. Did we listen? The taste of tepid Stegmaier on a hot summer night is something I am unable to forget. And I have tried.

I have seen foxhound7912 bid on lots of Northern Rhone stuff that many wine geeks would be happy to drink. He or she must have one of the largest Winebid-sourced collections of Allemand in the world (now there's an accomplishment). Someone in NYC must know him/her.

A plausible inference is that it is Mike Zima (owner of SommPicks website).

Domestic production ceased in 2008. You have to go to Japan to find it now.

(Sake2Me appears to have stopped production, too. What a world.)
